good quality sharp scissors are a must. a small pair for detail work and larger, spring loaded, for cutting larger fabrics.

  11. This may sound unusual but I use a lot of Fray Check for my business. Of course, I use plenty of other "tools" but I am always shocked when I look back over my receipts and see how much of this stuff I really do go through. :0)

  16. I can't live without my sewing machine. Oh, I can't imagine sewing by hand... only for special detail work. I will say that I love my rotary cutter and mat, too. I just got those recently and they are pretty life changing.

  27. I can't live without my lint roller. I use it constantly to clean off the sewing table and the cutting table in between projects. It is also great when you use the seam ripper it helps to pick those little fuzzy threads right out. And of course for quick rolls over finished projects to remove any stray lint and threads.

  33. I wish I could say I never used a seam ripper but I have a huge collection of them as I use them all the time but I couldn't live without my sewing machine. Everything else I could work out different tools but my sewing machine is like an extension of me!!
